Southwest Allergy and Asthma prides itself on delivering the best possible patient-centered care available. We strive to help all patients who suffer with allergies and asthma.

Our practice has been an integral part of the Southern Utah medical community for more than 15 years. Dr Pinna is a  board certified specialist  in both pediatric and adult allergy. All patients are welcome without referral.

Kenneth Pinna, MD

Kenneth Pinna, MD is an experienced, Board Certified Allergy & Immunologist who has been practicing in the St. George community since 2004. He offers treatment and guidance for patients with allergies, asthma, and those diagnosed with primary immune deficiency. Patients from all over the southwest seek his expertise and treatment advice.

Having studied pre-med at the Idaho State University in Pocatello. After graduating, he moved on to the Universitat Innsbruck in Austria where he was certified in the German language. He graduated in the Top 10 class rating for his Medical Doctorate at Cebu Doctors College of Medicine in the Philippines. His education continued earning his Board Certification in Internal Medicine at Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He also subspecialized in Allergy, Asthma, Immunology at Rush Presbyterian University in Chicago, Illinois. After receiving his Board Certifications, he went on the practice at the Department of Allergy and Immunology in Grand Forks, N.D. from 2001 to 2003.Dr Pinna was an associate professor of medicine at University of North Dakota College of Medicine. Helping train medical students and resident physicians. He is uniquely skilled in helping patients to identify their allergies which may include food or environmental allergies. He is also successful at identifying chemical sensitivities that cause illness.

Dr. Pinna also treats immune deficient patients who are prone to frequent sickness and opportunistic infections. Immune globulin therapy is the treatment for CVID patients’ defense systems not functioning adequately. He is able to aid patients in identifying and understanding their illnesses and the treatment options available. He has a fun personality and is a community leader. He is a devoted husband and father of three children. He is passionate about international travel, fencing, coaching soccer, education, and has exquisite culinary skills. His careful attention to his patients’ needs makes him a well-reputed physician in St. George. He upholds the highest standard of care in the community and has helped improve the quality of life of those suffering with allergies and asthma related issues.

 

Kenneth Pinna,MD is an experienced board-certified physician by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and also the American Board of Internal Medicine. He specializes in pediatric and adult allergic conditions, asthmatic and immunologic conditions.

Kenneth Pinna, MD also provides education about allergies and asthma with the goal of optimizing control of your symptoms and improving your quality of life. The clinic staff looks forward to welcoming new patients, as well as established patients to ease the path to restore vitality.
